Future Foundations is working with Uniaid to deliver a two hour interactive finance masterclass, delivered direct to students, addressing personal finance, available support and funding and budgeting.
This summer FF leaders will deliver Uniaid materials to over 500 students to prepare them for managing their finances at university. These sessions not only address the issue of personal and student finance but are also good for teambuilding, building self-awareness and raising understanding of others. UNIAID is a national, independent charity set up to address a new large scale problem - helping students cope with financial hurdles to higher education. UNIAID’s award-winning, highly engaging work consists of: Online tools for prospective students Resources and training for schools, colleges and universities Workshop delivery in schools, summer schools, outreach and induction Consultancy – providing subject matter expertise
We started working in partnership with Future Foundations earlier this year. UNIAID is a small education charity who have developed creative, engaging resources on student finance. As an organisation we lacked the capacity to meet the high demand for our workshops over the summer. This is where Future Foundations stepped in. The quality of the staff recruited by Future Foundations was really impressive. All of the students had experience in delivery and working with young people, which matched our needs perfectly. The deliverers really added to the both the content and standard of the workshops with their excellent style of delivery. The experience and creativity which the deliverers were able to bring to the workshop really helped to improve the programme. With so many workshops running, it was great to know that the workshops were being run across the country by competent deliverers who could step up and manage any problems which came up and think of creative ways around them. The feedback from the students in the workshops is that they found the sessions delivered by the Future Foundations leaders as informative, motivational and highly engaging! The partnerships with Future Foundations menat we were able to deliver great workshops with a real impact!
